About Pirachuk
Pirachuk Boma, located in Twic East County, Jonglei State, is home to approximately 3,000 members of the Pareng clan. The community has experienced significant displacement due to prolonged conflict, recurrent flooding, and economic instability.
The formal allocation of Pirachuk as a boma in July 2025 marked a critical turning point, creating the administrative foundation necessary for organized return and sustainable resettlement on ancestral lands.
